UNIVERSITY OF WORCESTER: Guest Lecturing

Just the opportunity alone to lecture is a privilege, but to do it at my alma mater, is an honour.(Art by Lawrence Stacey)

Following my steps into the games industry, I was approached by my course leaders in Screenwriting and Creative Writing with the possibility to lecture current students.

I lectured Interactive Media Writing, Ben Broomfield's Screenwriting module, and spoke about games writing in the traditional sense, as well as what it entails, what tools one would use most often and how anyone can pursue opportunities in the industry with the right skills and mindset. Eventually, it was time for Hypermedia, a Creative Writing module taught by Dr. Jack McGowan, the Creative Writing Course Leader. This was done via zoom, due to the COVID-19 outbreak and was later complemented with emails from students and attachment sharing.

I look forward to continuing this partnership with my alma mater!
